Pre-production model in metallic red with grey base ( still without the (A) cast at the front ) and early solid 5 spoke wheels. Produced in november 1969. This is the very 1st casting still without the running boards on the sides and the panel above the side lids. That panel had to be added as they needed a flat surface for applying the labels. Fantastic model, excellent condition but unfortunaly the left front edge of the bumper is missing. The last picture shows an similiar model without labels applied making the missing side panel more obvious. |

Very colourful colour trial model which was used for internal testing in the factory: finding out at which tension the doors are breaking. The answer: 8 lb. The original test tag from the factory is still attached. Doors are loose as the internal steel spring is loose. Glue marks from old tape around the body and no wheels ( were never fitted ). A true piece of development progress for that model. |

The original test tag from the factory is still attached. The ( broken off ) right door is missing, no wheels ( were never fitted ). A true piece of development progress history for that model. |
