The "DINKY" Series
From 1988 the brand name "DINKY" belonged to Universal Toys( at that time owner of "Matchbox" ) and from then on they were offered under the "Matchbox" label. DINKY models are usually made in 1:43 scale, larger commercial vehicles are in 1:50 scale. There are mostly European cars from the 50's and 60's. From 1993 on this brand also was marketed under the "Matchbox Collectibles" name in their mail order only scheme until 2003.
