MG1A Garage / Service Station 1958 one storey
The first ever Garage/Service Station offered by Lesney was the one-storey MG1A in red & yellow from 1958.
The 1st Garage/Service Station offered by Lesney in 1958 was still produced by another company because Lesney felt they had not gained enough experience with plastic moulding yet. The one-storey building and base were available in either red & yellow or reversed in yellow and red. The base already had markings for positioning the A1 "ESSO" pumps but that accessory pack had to be bought seperately.

The 1st, one storey Service Station issued in 1958. Completely made from plastic, produced by R. Linkin Ltd. for Lesney. Yellow base / red building, yellow roof sign. Excellent+ condition, window is intact, label to roof sign is 100%, the two rear doors are there. Excellent box but missing two inner flaps, with the "LRL" logo printed on. |

Excellent condition in very good complete box with a few scratches to one picture side. Harder to find box without the "Raphael Lipkin" symbol on the front.
