Carry Case Sets were introduced in the early 70's, they usually consist of one of the plastic trays found in the larger carry cases filled with a few models which were "themed" and packed in a small vinyl case. So you've got a small 12 model carry case plus a few models which featured a certain theme like "Cross Country" or "Emergency".
