Well, if you're into Lesney/Matchbox paper material then here is something you might not have seen before: the extremly rare 1959 leaflet advertising the new "Presentation Set's PS-1 to PS-5". When Lesney introduced their first Giftsets ever, then called "Presentation Sets" in 1959 these were not shown in the pocket catalogs. Instead this leaflet was printed and distributed in very small numbers to wholesalers showing the planned 5 Sets PS-1 to PS-5. Shows the extremly rarer PS-1 "Private Owner Set", also the other four sets are shown in pre-production format still missing the internal lettering on the inner cardboard section and with some showing different graphics on the cover then used on production sets. One of the rarest Matchbox catalogs/leaflets known to exist. Printing date on the back is may 22. 1959. This one here is in very good condition, i would rate this a "9". |
