Pre-production blistercard for the never released No. 35C Merryweather Fire Engine. This beautiful model would have been issued in july or august of 1969 but instead was one of the first models to be converted to the "Superfast" range. In order to have the blistercards ( only used in Canada and Sweden ) ready for production start these were of course printed in advance. This one here survived because it was send from the printing company to Lesney for approval of the artwork and thankfully the Lesney employee reponsible for that kept the cards. So a never issued blistercard of a model never made....can't get much more history. In fantastic condition. Rear side is plain white.
