As soon as the Superfast series was born Lesney issued Giftsets for that series, but all the first generation sets from 1969/70 are hard to find today and usually command high prices as they usually contain rare early models & colours. Sets from that period still originally shrink-wrapped are rare today.

Fantastic early transitional Superfast Giftset from 1970, contains some of the earliest Superfast models produced: No.8A Mustang in white with red interior, 24A Rolls Royce in light metallic red with thin 5 spoke wheels, 14A Iso Grifo in dark metallic blue with dark blue interior and thin 5 spoke wheels, 53A Ford Zodiac light metallic green with small thin 5 spoke wheels and small wheel arches and No.67A VW 1600 TL in metallic lilac with thin 5 spoke wheels + K-12 DAF Car Transporter from the King Size range. Still shrink wrapped, models have never been removed from the box! Hard to find in such outstanding condition. Condition models: 9.5 or better Condition box: 9 |
